| Erik Amandus föddes den 13 januari 1897 i Gideåberg, Edsele såsom son till Erik Gidlöf och Amanda Gidlund.
Han gifte sig med Linnea Vikström och i mars 1922 föddes deras son Bertil. År 1923 emigrerade Erik Amandus med sin fru och son till hans faster Brita Gidlöf och hennes make Petter Wikander i Stephenson, Michigan, USA. Där föddes ytterligare två söner, Paul och Clarence. Erik Amandus tog över gården efter Brita och Petter. Erik Amandus arbetade som snickare. Han dog i Stephenson den 8 januari 1982. Notes Erik Amandus was born January 13, 1897 in Gideåberg, Edsele as the son of Erik Gidlöf and Amanda Gidlund. He married Linnea Vikström and in march 1922 their son Bertil was born. In 1923 Erik Amandus and his wife and son emigrated to his aunt Brita Gidlöf and her husband Petter Wikander in Stephenson, Michigan. Amandus and Linnea had two more sons, Paul and Clarence. Erik Amandus later took over after Brita and Petter. Erik Amandus worked as a carpenter. He died in Stephenson January 8, 1982. |
